...Rune cannons. Somehow, they've found their way to this world. This is a bad day for anyone who calls themselves a pirate.
Caught us completely by surprise. We were barely able to get away. The Dauntless is in bad shape, a lot of the crew is injured and scared...they've never even seen that kind of firepower before.
We're retreating to the Nest for repairs, and to warn the others about this. I'm willing to be that wasn't the only ship that's equipped with Rune cannons.
...I don't think the Island Nations Federation is behind these cannons, either. There's something else at work here.
