If they say they're almost ready, they almost certainly are. It can't hurt to check, on the other hand.

The True Runes usually come with their bearers; however, the Beast Rune's only host, to the best of my knowledge, has been the palace in Higheast, so to speak. Its presence here cannot be ruled out so easily.

If we're really being that cautious about the rune, you'd almost have to jump to the conclusion that the palace is the same one as our world. Wouldn't that be something?
