more shopping, no drinking
i have stuck to my resolution of shopping more, but i need to improve on the drinking part.
the last thing i had approximating a drink was some coffee jelly with kahlua and cream, but yesterday i managed to buy 2 dresses and a pair of cropped trousers.
the dresses: one is a pinstriped shirt dress with oversized buttons, and the other is a weird grey-green jersey thing that looks like a rag on the hanger but decent once worn (unless the mirrors at Dorothy Perkins lie).
the cropped trousers: army green and my mother thinks they are too wide, which probably means that the width is perfect.
i didn't spend that much money. or at least i thought i didn't spend much money. the amount i'm willing to spend on one item of clothing would probably horrify a lot of people but i think money, especially money you work for yourself, is for spending. i never know what to say to people who insist that money can't buy happiness.
