I've heard fangirl wonders of the Edgeworth/Phoenix interaction. And yes, I mean slash by that. And yes, I have never played one of those games, but want to because they sound like fun. xD

Oddly enough, I think I'm shipping het more than yaoi in this fandom. I ship Phoenix/Maya like crazy (the last case in the second game sealed the deal for me) and couldn't help but love Mia/Diego (or Mia/Godot, whatever, same man XD).

...I kind of like the idea of Godot/Phoenix, too, since they're my husbands favorite characters. :PPP

What, no Edgeworth/Oldbag? Heheheheheh ewww. No, but I think Edgeworth is a definite asexual kind of guy (though if I had to pick, I'd say Edgeworth/Ema). I like Phoenix/Maya, too, though I think Phoenix/Iris... I just thought it was kind of tragically cute. At first I thought there would probably be some similar hint of romance in the fourth game between Apollo and Trucy... but then I learned of a certain spoiler and was kind of squicked. Now I'm thinking Apollo/Pearl. Pearl isn't in the fourth game, but I don't care. It's mostly for my amusement.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting Phoenix/Iris to be canon in the end. I thought the whole time he was in college it was that bitch Dahlia. But it made me happy that most of the time is was Iris. I felt so sorry for Phoenix. He's the best man out there, but never got the love he truly deserved... until Iris told him she did love him. I thought that was sweet... Finally, the man gets some lovin'. ^_^

Ahh, Pearls isn't in the fourth game? I was quite curious to see how she'd look as a teenager. :D I ran into Ema recently, and she turned out great. :D

Well, PW is more like a story/anime than a video game. It's official genre is "adventure, visual novel".

There's definitely a lot of BL subtext in the games. I've heard it's even more so in the fourth between Justice and Klavier. In fact, I've seen some screenshots from the game that are pretty obviously deliberate innuendo.
