[To Kite the Tailor]

I apologise if I'm doing this wrong, I'm still not quite familiar with how to use a quill. It didn't come with any instructions and no one I know, knows anything about them.

My name is Oishi, don't mind about forgetting, it's not a very memorable name and I suspect I gabbled it out when we met. I was flustered by Goat making a ( Read more... )

It's perfectly alright...though I can't tell if everyone else will see this, or if you wanted them to. Mostly, the Quill seems to work to your thoughts. If you write a line or two and think very hard about how you only want a certain person to be able to read them...somehow, it usually works that only that person will see those lines at all.

I won't forget your name now, Oishi-san. It's not good business for a fellow like me to go around forgetting names.

You may not seem bothered by Mizuki's behavior, but I am. Quite frankly, I was appalled... I just wish that even if he was horrified by the East End...he'd at least have had the decency to make an effort to hide it.

^_^ Well thank you. I do take pride in my work. And I have to agree...I don't understand why people would forget to pick up something they've already paid for... I wouldn't mind at all if you sold some of them. The money could go for supplies for your clinic, which I would be thrilled to support. The only thing I ask in return is that if anyone asks where they came from, drop my name a bit~ Word of mouth is some of the best advertising I get, after all, and it doesn't cost a penny. ;)

Take care of yourself, Doc.

Oh. Bother. I meant it to be private. Perhaps I didn't think clearly enough or it's broken...

It's not an easy place to get along. The previous doctor couldn't quite get his head around it either, nor could the nurses. It takes a particular sort really. I'm not sure that can be taught.

Thank you, that's incredibly generous. I'm afraid Goat ate one of my spare shirts a while back and I've taken one for my own use as a replacement. It's a relief to have something smart to go to the main hospital in if I need to. I will of course, absolutely tell your name to everyone. If Goat would even stay still enough for me to paint it, I'd use his sides for advertising space- he gets about the neighbourhood just as much as I do.

Kind Regards.

It takes a little getting used to. Some people seem to take to the system easier than others. And this time, it's alright. I don't think you wrote anything that will harm you in any way if it gets around, so don't stress yourself too much.

I know it isn't. But...even if the distaste is there, there are still manners about how openly it's shown that can be adjusted. It's not like I expect people to just suddenly be okay with the area...but they should at least be able to curb their distaste out of respect for those that are.

Hahaha, now that would be a sight! A goat walking around with my name on its sides... But hey. I'm of the opinion that any advertising is good advertising, and I've gotten as successful as I am mostly through word-of-mouth... The more people there are that talk about me, the better.
