And now for...well, you know.

In the end getting on the uberman sleep schedule proved too daunting a task for me. I figured I didn't have enough projects that I had committed to heavily enough to keep me going and from getting bored during the 20+ hours I would have spent awake every day. Also the prospect of messing up my social schedule and giving up the freedom of going wherever I wanted whenever I wanted didn't really agree with me. I also found out that I value sleeping long way too much.

In other news, this blog is now about music. Music and WoW. ("Our two main topics are music and WoW and programming. No, wait! Among our main topics are such as music, WoW, programming and...") Call it a new years resolution three months in advance. I realized I wrote too much about what I hadn't done, what I should've done and what I wished I had done and too little about what I actually had done. So no more of that. At least now I won't have to worry about not having enough energy to write whiny posts about being too tired/bored/directionless/frantic to do anything worthwhile.

When I get to it, I'll probably hide most of my posts from last year. They're not that informative and mostly come off as onanistic practices in lamentation.

Someday soon I'll get new speakers to go with my brand-spanking-secondhand pre-amp. It was probably naïve to think that getting a proper pre-amp to go with my power amp wouldn't reveal my current speakers for the cheap tinny boxes that they are. Of course things could still go awry and I might end up looking for a subwoofer to patch up the thin bass. Here's hoping I won't have to.
