When I woke up today the weather was so beautiful I decided to begin my day with a morning swim (although at that point it was already afternoon). So for the first time in months I packed my speedos and a towel, drank some water and cycled to town. My body was still half-asleep - and I've been pretty lazy lately anyway - so I decided that half a kilometer would suffice this time. I was done in fifteen minutes.
Going to the swimming hall right after you wake up usually results in an undefined craving for something. This time was no exception. I think it's an unfortunate case of my mind mixing things up; What I really need is a breakfast, but what I usually end up looking at are games, books or some other junk. Exercise-induced shopping...it's a good thing I'm not usually loaded with cash on these trips. (Then again, when am I?) Nevertheless, I ended up buying George R.R. Martins A Feast For Crows - and would have bought Simmons' Olympos if I'd had the money with me (good thing I didn't, eh?).
Mythbusters on TV soon. Before that, some ADOM.
