Gather Ye Lords And Ladies Fair
We spent the better part of the day at the MD Ren Fest. Bear and I both have lovely new pottery mugs; his is pretty with a serpentine dragon for a handle, but mine says "Insolent Minion" around the rim. Hee! Mom bought us Cthulhu to hang on the wall because she loves us enough to give madness-inducing evil. The Boy found a wooden shield with the Gryffindor lion beckoning to him. Saw a couple of shows, watched the people, etc. The only problem is that sunshine and fresh air almost invariably give me a nasty migraine. Today proved no exception. By the time I got back to the car, pain and nausea were wrapping themselves around vital parts of my anatomy. I fell into a two and a half hour nap almost immediately after we walked in the door. I feel better, but still a little woozy.
All in all, though, a very good day.
