It will work like it always does, which is that everyone who is taking part contributes $2 to a kitty. The winner will win all of it. Everyone predicts the top ten songs in order. They then email them to me. We sit and listen to the hottest 100 songs at my party while eating meat and drinking beer. When one of your songs comes in you will get a score which is equal to the difference between its actual placing and your predicted placing. i.e. If you guess that MUSE - Resistance comes in at 2, and it actually comes in at 13, then you will get 11 points. If one of your songs is not in the 100, then you will be allotted a score of 100 points for that song. The goal is to get the minimum score. Everyone will also predict song #31, as a sort of tie-breaker in the unlikely event that the two best placed participants have the exact same predictions in the exact same order.
I have already sent my predictions by email to Ness, so that she can verify that I did not cheat off of any of your entries.
