sorry about Aruiteru.. i totally lost my voice after egao. and its a week later and i haven't got it fully back yet =\
singing an entire song was really difficult because i didn't have the energy to focuz on certain parts and had to work on the whole thing... but it turned out ok.. but not as good as our other releases i have to say... i think its because we all didn't know what to focus on.. so our timing? was off a little, you know? but they were good!!! i just wish more people turned in lines =]
oh yeah.. and for songs like egao... it really required breaking up the parts cuz the breathing just killed us.. so i thouhg it just wasn't that consistent.. BUT IT WAS STILL GOOD! i liked it! ^_^..
we should keep trying to work with this recording style just because its helpful to you and for the release date problem. hopefully everyone will get used to it.. (i'm ok with anything... i like the old way cuz it doesn't kill my voice. after recording egao, i seriously didn't have anything left for aruiteru)
i hope my feedback is helpful <3333 shwat is the next single??? ^^
.. I did say when the project was first announced that people still are free to split up their lines, but now you have to use your own common sense about when/where to do those splits. I personally split up the Egao chorus in a million different pieces ("Anata dake no watashi dakara", "Enryo sezu ni tsuyoku shite yo" etc all in a file of their own). It doesn't sound right at all to do the chorus as one long bit @_@; Listen to how the original songs sound and you get a pretty good image on how you should split up your recordings. Keep that in mind for the next project, hm?
yeaaaaah.. i did split it.. its just like... thinking about the way we used to do it, and split the lines and gave it out.. kinda like that. so that people could focus on those parts. i was fine with it... i really didn't have a problem except that it took me 2 hours to record hahahhaa
but this is fine.. cuz i also think we did a good job
2 hours doesn't sound so bad. That's the time you should set aside for recording anyway. If possible you should never try to do both songs in one day, it'll seem more like a chore than fun if you force yourself too much.
Uhm.. well that is pretty normal T_T; Hence all the delays we've been having with previous releases since we used to need everyone to submit their lines. I know Feli and Kang were unable to join in because of technical problems, and Asashi weren't able to get them done in time. I haven't heard from Tiffachu at all T_T;
o_O; I'm glad to hear you put energy and effort into your singing, but do take care of yourself as well, ne? ^^; Don't do more than you are capable of!
When doing the songs like this you'll just have to picture yourself really recording the song and/or performing the song in front of an audience. That's what I do, at least :) That way you stay focused all the way through and do your best to sound great in all parts.
but i didn't lose my voice from singing.. i had laringitis? or whatever.. i actually got sick lol.. and i went on a trip on saturday =\ soooo i haven't gotten to recover fully yet XD
