If you would like to volunteer at Royal Doof this year, let me know and I can pass your details on to the coordinator. 6 hours gets your ticket refunded! There are still shifts left on the gate, parking and rubbish. I will be doing 2 gate supervisor shifts, could possibly get a couple of people working with me...

Email from Yvette:

Thank you for offering to volunteer to help out for Royal Doof 2010. Without the valued time, support and effort from the many volunteers that help out at this event, Royal Doof would be unable to run as successfully as it has in the past years, and for years to come.
Royal Doof requires volunteers to purchase a ticket to the event prior to arrival. Volunteers are then required to complete 6-7 hrs volunteer work as rostered before they can be reimbursed for the full face value of their ticket.
There are several volunteer positions available at Royal Doof 2010 including:
- front gate/directing traffic
- clean up/rubbish/some toilets
- set up and pack up (hard workers only thanks)
Please reply with your preferred position if any, hours you're available or prefer, and a phone contact to yvette@optusnet.com.au or 0401 986 718. Volunteers will be notified of confirmation of their email, and then their rostered hrs at least 2 weeks prior, if not earlier.
We look forward to having you as a volunteer for Royal Doof 2010 and hope you enjoy your time helping to make it possible in 2010.
