You would think with a title like that I was talking about the guy, but not today. In a weird coincidence, I happened to ask my co-worker for the section of the paper with the Harry Potter review. I guess the entertainment section. Anyways, I was bored, so I looked through the rest, and in the music section I happened to glimpse a photo of what looked to be Kate. By Kate I mean Kate Bush. She hasn't produced anything thing in years. 12 to be exact, so I was wondering why a photo should be in the paper, and oh glorious day, she has released an album! A double album! Called Aerial.
The review said that "All the traits tht make her a love-her-or-blame-her-for-Tori-Amos artist are here." He gave her a good review though, and even if he panned it, I'd still want.
Now here is the thing. I don't buy CDs. I despise the RICAA for their ham-handed handling of the whole piracy issue, and generally don't want to give them any money. I'd rather give it straight to the artists. I wonder if I write Kate what are the odds I could send her some pounds sterling, and she'll send me a copy of the CD. Probably not. Which leaves me with a dilemma. Down load the album and stand on my principles, or show my support for Kate by actually buying the CD. And if I buy, do I get the domestic release, or pay the hefty 45 dollars for the import? I don't really see a difference in the 2, so I think I'd go domestic until something makes buying the import worth it.
Anyways.... *sigh* Want want want.
