This weekend is Fogfest in Pacifica, and the Folsome St fair in San Francisco. I'm thinking of checking in at both events, if at least for a little while. Anyone wanna join me?
ankoku_jin, are we still doing the Pirate thing at Yaoicon? I'm working on my pirate outfit.
Hockey season is starting on the 22ed. I am quietly trembling with excitement. And this year the Islanders are coming to the play the Sharks, which means of course I am going. Wooo! And my team at work is going to a game September 29th for our team outting. I don't have a dog in that fight, but I'm still happy to be going.
I spoke to my doctor today. Last December I had a catscan done. She asked me to come back several months later for another to see if the shadow in my lung was growing. I went recently, and she called me today with the results. Apparently, it was inconclusive, so I have to have another in January, and 2 more 6 months apart after that. If the shadow is stable after 22 months, then it will be attributed scar tissue from bronchitis.
I feel so out of sorts here now. Weird. I hope to gain my LJ rhythm back though. I miss it.
