I am very happy with Stargate Atlantis. Yes, I feel the Rodney love. And the Shepard love. I don't see the love between them that fosters McShep other than people pairing their two fav chars together and bam! Love. But then I don't have a problem with people doing that. I like Ford as a character too. I like the Wraith as villains. The females, eh. As with most shows, I can take them or leave them, I have no strong feelings about them. Still, it's only the second disc, and it took a while for me to warm up to SG1, let alone to see the slashiness inherent in the show.
Right now I'm watching Childshood's End which should have been called Children of the Corn. Rodney the parent. Too funny.
And now I'm watching Poisoning the Well. Oh yes, I like this show.
EDIT: Oh, I am so gonna get reemed for this, but I am not adverse to the idea of McKay and Shepard. I'm not saying I'm embracing it whole heartedly, I'm just saying, I'm going to explore the fandom. This is kinda amazing, because SG1, while I like the show, I have no interest in the slash fandom at all. But SGA, well, now my interest is piqued.
Edit the second: SGA is making me feel all tingly in a way I haven't felt about a show since Buffy 7 came out on DVD. I really like this show. I can't wait to get the 3rd disc. I hope it arrived yesterday. Whee!
