Thanks abound!
Many thanks to everyone who wished me well on my birthday. It was a lovely day altogether. My parents, Mark and I went shopping, and then to dinner at Scomas (seafood, of course) down on the Wharf. Dinner, while pricey, was awesome! We were so stuffed, it was all we could do to make it to the car and over to Ghirardelli Square for ice cream dessert. (and chocolate for my mom to take home to her friends.)
Tomorrow is a quiet day with a few errands, and my parents are going to do some overnight site-seeing while I work, and then later this week, the 4 of us plan on going further afield.
The only negative so far is that my mother is allergic to my kittens and has to medicate herself pretty heavily, or sleep in the car. Yeah, that sucks, but my mom is weird, she can literally sleep anywhere.
It's kinda weird having my parents in my house. They are guests, but not. The only reason they ask for anything is because they don't know where it is. Which is actually a good sign. I like people who are visiting my house to feel at home.

Oh well. I'm getting sleepy, I guess I'll head off to bed.
