I'm watching Outsourced and the odd duck Gupta comes from a long line of horse men. Outsourced is a great comedy because really, how many sitcoms involve dialogue describing techniques to masturbate horses to collect their semen? Soon after he yells "Horsey no!!!!" which is also classic Gupta.
I recently purchased a new iMac. There's quite a difference between the (original) MacBook and a 2011 iMac. I lack the ability to quantify the difference in performance from the MacBook's 2.0 Ghz Core Duo and the iMac's Sandy Bridge Quad Core i5 running at 2.7 Ghz. And I don't have to worry about it burning my lap; the processor runs a good 30 degrees cooler and that's in celsius.
The screen is large and gorgeous. The ports are numerous and plentiful. It pretty much operates silently. I didn't think I would enjoy the wireless keyboard because I'm partial to the full keyboard but the convenience and feel is a general joy.
I have a spare bluetooth magic mouse though. Anyone?
