Stuff Happens, News at 11!

So three people decided to quit at work (well four if you count the girl who went on a cruise for a month), so I've been working five to six hours a day, and along with about two hours of horse-work everyday, leaves me pretty damn tired, hence why I haven't been around.

Plus my feet have been killing me, I mean I used to be able to take six hours of standing and walking with no problems, and at first, ten hours, but now its becoming so painful its hard to walk at the end of the day. I don't know if its my shoes or what, but so far I've tried switching shoes, those gel-sole things and nothing's worked. Though of course this would be a less than good time for my arches to decide to start collapsing.

So anyway to make up for being rather absent (when I should really be confirming plans for Comic Con) here's my first, and prolly only, picture post that's not from a con!

Why? Because I hate having my picture taken and you'll prolly see plenty of me after photos for Comic Con start going up.

This is Lea on my mare Anna. Lea is the German chick we somehow almost adopted if you don't recall.

Ah, isn't Simon just the cutest lil' snake there is? I'm going to have to make an icon of that.

That's sis's boyfriend Blake (who spends more time at our house than he does his own now) and the huge ass, jam packed with sugar, cake she made for his birthday.

And this is our newest horse, Tim-a Belgian/Arab cross-that got his Belgian mother's size and a Arabian's mischeif. You think this looks cute? Well its not so funny when he pulls a live hose out of a water dish and you get smacked in the face with a stream of water.

And here he is with Elroy, since he's the only other horse who like Elroy. But they're the same age and came from the same farm and they were next to each other when Elroy was recovering from the flu and Tim from ripping his right rear leg open when they were foals. Helen had them both marked for us the minute they came off the truck from Canda.

Oh yes I just found this website Girl-Wonder.org. Its already featured on Fandom Wank, but I haven't had time to go through the articles nbut its an interesting concept anyway, a feminist take on comicbooks, by women who actually LIKE them.
