Not a race report.
I was talking (messaging) with Beth the other day about blogs and the posting thereon, and I mentioned that I really wanted to write more, but I was in a bit of a rut. All I ever post are race reports now. Don't get me wrong, I really like writing race reports (most of the time), but I also really like just writing. And I never do that anymore.
I told her I thought I'd make one of my goals for the new year to start blogging more. Then I remembered I really hate postponing goals based on arbitrary time assignments. Like "I'm going to start eating better and exercising more in the new year". Just.. do it now. Otherwise you're going to that thing where you overeat in anticipation of deprivation and be in an even worse starting position when you finally start. So here I am! Doing it now.
Of course, this is just the post that says I'm going to post more. I don't know what I'm going to post about. And given that I'm fairly sure practically nobody uses livejournal anymore and I never had a big readership in the first place, I can rest fairly easy knowing that probably nobody will be reading this anyway!
