"And we ran by Steve and Ruth, so I had to pretend I was doing okay." Hehe.. that's funny. Did she get you to give her a high-five as you passed?

I think I heard them call your name when you finished. Of course, I haven't ever met you in person, and I wasn't close enough to see exactly *who* was finishing at the time. So it could have been someone else with your name, but the chances are slim.

Good on you, for your stick-to-it-iveness!

Man, it WAS humid and that course was hilly! I'm really impressed with your pace on that difficult day...and last year was difficult, too (remember those winds?!?). Way to stick it out and hang tough.

Good job, especially in a tough race. I was really glad to be out there cheering and not running it.

That's the sound of you running by!!! You have really gotten fast for long distances! Doesn't look like that shoulder down time set you back any! I am so impressed!! I'm sure I didn't look too happy when we high-fived, despite being so close to the finish line. My tummy was involved in fighting a side stitch and my brain was busy thinking that I had 4 more miles to go. No finish line push for me. It was good to see you and xomox though!
