Fall out from the budget continues, and the language is changing to try make it seem less harsh... Just heard another Minister come up with a cracker: instead of talking about cutting 16500 public service jobs (via redundencies, including forced redundencies) he is now talking about 'necessary displacements'....

Job cuts are not job cuts, they are displacements - geez, I feel so much better about it now!
