Why so serious?
A little blurb about my moviegoing experience tonight.
The Dark Knight. Is. Epic. Srlsy loved it. My sister had a good point though; the stuff they make into graphic novelesque film is a little too close to the world's current situation to be appreciated for its cinematic entertainment. But I think what audiences need to think about (and, let's face it, anyone who isn't currently in university or who hasn't previously attended will not realize this) is taking the nihilistic message with a grain of salt. The presentation makes it fiction, the subject matter makes it real. And the world is just too damn important to be considered fiction these days. Despite all this, it is one fucking hell of an impressive movie. Visually, cinematically, irresistably incredible. Thank-you for your time.
P.S. I will be Christian Bale's second wife, once I dispose of his first.
