So...what I love about the nets (sometimes) is that you can find some really random stuff. You just have to follow this link and then this one and then tie it all together and suddenly make a neat discovery.
Of course this can sometimes take a lot of work. Unless you cheat and let somone else find the starting links for you. That's where this really cool site I use comes in. Through a blog I read often, I discovered this cool site called the
Very Short List. VSL basically browses the Web all day and then gives you the neatest links it finds. You can get their discoveries delivered to your e-mail daily and always have something interesting to read about. Whether it be a cool movie or a link to an amusing comic, these guys know their shit.
Anyway, today's VSL was a link to some awesome tilt-shift photography (which is basically photography that uses extreeeemely shallow depth of field and high angle to make real-world landscapes look like toy models). On that page there was also links to tilt-shift time lapse videos (which were pretty neat too). And one of those videos sent me to a music video by Thom Yorke (a british rocker of Radiohead fame), who I had completely forgotten had his own album. Long story short - YAY NEW MUSIC.
