for once! i have a saturday off. but i am still awake at the crack of dawn.
Things have been strangly wonderful lately, despite everything else. rob and i have made amends (can't spell) but we are not a couple, just back to that really close feeling we always had from the begining. shannon is walking, and falling, and walking. poor baby looks like an abused child. she falls a lot and get little baby bruises, but just like her parents, she always gets back up on her feet somehow. i am working full time. too much actually for someone who isn't required to pay rent where they live. but i'm working on that as well. i haven't saved as much i wish i have, because i lost my saturn to a blown piston rod. i did however buy my grandparents car, which all around cost me about 700. it's a pontiac bonneville and it's fucking beautiful. some call it a grandma car, but would you call this a grandma car if it was 1959?:
i didn't think so. also, they don't even make the bonneville anymore.
r.o.a.d. ended last night which makes me sad because the people i met there were very inspiring and i always felt so relaxed and free from all axniety in their presence. i guess we are having a social action event meeting on wednesday though. i think we will all agree on a yard sale. it is the most helpful for us, because we are all poor, and getting rid of the clutter just seems to help aleaviate some depressions and get people more organized. plus it can be an excellent soliciting tool of awareness.
i'm looking for my own place. i am looking in malden, melrose, wakfield, medford, everett. places that are reasonable and affordable. i may even look into renting a house in quincy. i don't make a ton of money, and it is first important to find day care for shannon. i love MY room mates, but i'm just done with the idea and lifestyle of having room mates at all. i want my own space so that shannon can have her own room and our own kitchen and the whole deal i guess. i have a while to save still.
