So pretty much this Religion class is awesome. A few things in the old testement have given my friends and I a good chuckle so I've decided to add onto my livejournal an "Awkward Bible verse of the day". :-) But before I give you that bit of awkwardness while I was trying to read for my class my roommate and I were watching Miami Ink and were talking about how we'd like to maybe get a tattoo someday when I come across this verse within the next moment after stating this thought of a tattoo, "You shall not make any gashes in your flesh for the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the LORD" ....yeah that put a damper on the discussion. haha.
And now for the awkward Bible verse of the day TADA!!!
"If a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water, and be unclean until the evening. Everything made of cloth or of skin on which the semen falls shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening. If a man lies with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them shall bate in water, and be unclean until the evening." Leviticus 15:16-18
