Another fun weekend. Friday was D&D adventuring again. A new person joined our group, but not until we had ventured into a secret cave and then our elf ranger sang in enemy territory. We ended up fighting a huge rhinoceros...thing. It almost killed my dog. T_T Once we met the new person, an evil guy, we set up the plan to destroy the enemy base. We're going to drop a rock on it. Woot. Well, it's the first time we've actually had a plan since we started.
On Saturday, we went to the RIT anime con! Weehee! It was really fun. Eric and John dressed as Mario and Luigi, and their costumes were excellent. Other people were in costume too-I saw the Ranma crew, and a few people from .Hack. In the dealer's room, I bought the first Trigun DVD (because I owned the entire series save for the first one until then) and an X artbook. I also got more music, this time the Tokyo Babylon vocal soundtracks. I also bought men's pocky, to see what the difference was. There wasn't any, really. It tasted the same. I watched Full Metal Alchemist, which is suprisingly good. Alphonse, the giant armor thing, is awesome. He should kill more people. After that, I played in a SSBM tournament. The rules were weird, though. Wins were based on damage dealt, not who actually won. I was 55 points away from placing!
After the con, we went out to eat at Friendly's, then visited video barn, where you can rent anime DVDs! Kickass! They had everything, too.
Sunday was a relaxation day. I polished up my presentation after practicing it, but I bet it's still too short. I don't think I care anymore. Debbie and I made cookies, which were delicious. And I found out that I'm the secretary of the Kendo club! I wanted to be VP, but meh.
