Dear Journal,
Doug is the best show ever made. End of story. It deals with many topics which effect how we interact with each other, and think about ourselves. For instance:
Racism - Every person on that show was a different color. Doug, obviously, was a W.A.S.P (White anglo-saxon protestant) who came in contact with yellow people (patti), green people (roger klautz), blueish people (mosquito 'skeeter', and Mr. Dink), and other various colored peoples.
Interpersonal Attraction - Doug's ongoing infatuation with Patti Mayonnaise was the driving force behind behind episodes and circumstances. It showed young people all over to world not to give up on those they care about, because eventually what you do for them will be reciprocated 10 fold.
Self esteem - Whenever Doug didn't know how to handle a situation or take care of a problem, he consulted with his alter ego: Quailman. Quailman was a fearless superhero with a heart of gold who knew what to do when any problem arose. With his sidekick Quaildog, they could take on any problem whether it be the Roger Klautz monster or taking Patti out on a date.
See you at the Honker burger and be sure to bring your beets cd.
