Oh my, Immigration assholes
Friday was court. Ugh. Waking up at 6:30 to go be shot down again. So we're in the car on the way to court and we're discussing when we think they'll tell us to come again. We were joking about betting on dates. So we get to court and our case was called immediately after we walked into the door thanks to our lawyer who is more than punctual. So we walk into court and they judge says 'So, what's going on here?' our lawyer responds 'well judge, we had our interview with CIS four months ago and we still haven't heard back.' So the judge says... 'Okay, we'll meet back here in the next available date. Ugh. Seriously, we were in the court room only long enough to have that banter between the judge and lawyer and for the judge to ask Sajid if he speaks and understands English. I was like ugh.
We got a date for June 6. I was like ??? OMG. But the lawyer told us we should be hearing from CIS about our interview before then... but then again we should have heard from them three months ago.
I missed my anatomy class so when Liz and I met up at Barnes and Noble she brought me her notes and a copy of the powerpoint notes.
