[This is the voice of a certain cold assassin who some of you may recognize... only that voice is not so cold, this time. He's just a regular guy, with regular emotions.]Looks like the Espers are gone... and now the village is getting back into shape? It's probably about time. What we need is some peace and quiet to get ourselves back together

[Terra's on the roof, surveying the area from there. Upon spotting Shadow, she stares in surprise at his unmasked self, then jumps off the roof to descend and hover by him.]

Shadow! What brings you here? And...it's nice to see your face again.

[shrouded_reaper]

[Clyde looks at her in confusion... since when does she call him by his old thieving team's name? Though he's told them the story plenty of times so he's not too surprised.]

Baram would be honored, I'm sure, but on my own it's just Clyde. I'm here checking up on things... though it looks pretty settled now. We should be ok, with the houses repairing themselves.

[esper_flight]

Clyde? Okay.

[Terra isn't going to argue about names, confused though she is on that. There's plenty else to be confused about.]

This house was never that damaged, so it's back to normal. I think we'll be okay, now. But...did something happen to you?

[Things look good overall, he's glad about that. Clyde looks a little confused now, though.]

I'm not sure what you mean, Terra? I feel the same as ever. In fact, I feel the calmest I have in a long time, taming the Espers was rather draining. I'm glad the village is still standing, though.

[esper_flight]

[Terra continues to peer at him, circling him as she hovers above the ground.]

I'm glad, too. This village has been through enough.

...and I'm glad you stopped covering your face. Did covering it up get too tiring?

Huh? [Clyde looks really confused.] I dunno, I don't make a habit of covering my face. I'm not even too sure what the ninja-gear was doing in with my things but... maybe I'll save it just in case I need it. You never know what'll come up next.

[esper_flight]

...I've almost always seen you in ninja gear. I think there was...once?...that I didn't, and it was an accident.

[She pauses, brow furrowing.]

This is so strange....

[Nevermind the strangeness of Terra being Espered outside of combat or quick flying sessions.]

[Yeah, he's noticing that, but has figured she's on her way to or from something important.]

Well, I've never dressed up like a ninja to my recollection. I think I'd remember something like that. But don't worry about it, a lot of confusing things are going on... Are you on your way somewhere? Or just getting back from a battle? I'd hate to hold you up if you had something to deal with...

[Terra shakes her head.]

No, I wasn't doing anything important. You're not interrupting me, I promise.

You sure? You're still in Esper form, so I figured... [Frowns a little.] Your powers aren't out of control again, are they?

[She shakes her head.]

They haven't been since the time I crossed over into the human world. I'm fine, really.

[shrouded_reaper]

Wait, what? Crossed over into the human world? But you were brought up in the... Never mind. [Well if being 'brought up' by Kefka as a mindless slave counts. Oops. :|] Anyway, you can revert back to human form if you want. It takes a lot of energy to stay like that, doesn't it?

[Terra shakes her head.]

I'm not human, so how can I have a human form?

[Wait... whaaaat?]

Yeah, I know that you're only half-human... but you've always had the ability to switch forms. The Esper form takes a lot of energy to maintain, though, so it's not like you ever stay that way for very long.

[esper_flight]

No, I mean...both my parents were Espers. I don't have any human relatives. I've known nothing else but this form.

What? But... that's not the way I remember it. You're only half Esper. It was a big deal that you were a bond between both worlds.
