I've got a Machine Head

...because everybody loves a Stewie....

Okay so hey...I'm back from the dead. And by dead I mean work. Sick. But alas today is my day off. Oh yeah and Tuesday. Rockin'. I've got lots of animal stories for today....but right now I'm eating a Chicken Pot Pie. $0.44 for us poor folk. And my parents still had to pay for them. HAHA.

I had a message on my answering machine the other day from this chick named Missy from Wal-Green's who wanted to set up an interview for a Pharmacy Technician spot. I called her back and left a message but still have not received a call back. Humph.

Hooray for Halloween coming and going...I was sick the weekend of and even puked. So I called off work on Halloween, feeling a bit better and Stephen and I did some things. He bought me flowers and a card and then we bought some cameras and took some pictures in the graveyard. From there we ate dinner at the chinese place we love and headed downtown to walk the canal. Not sure but I think I may have seen you fortune448  walking across the big bridge coming from the zoo??? We called "Joshie!" but no answer so we figured it wasn't you but it sure as heckfire looked like you.

So yeah...I hadn't got anything for Stephen from me for our anniversary....partly because I figured I had some time to be late since last year I bought him a $200 bass. But alas...I get back to work on Wednesday and up on our board there is a flier saying that this woman is looking for a home for her 9 year old African Grey. I jumped on the opportunity to get Stephen the bird he's wanted (that cost around $2000) for free....cage included and everything. So we went and looked at it on Thursday night and he was so adorable. We spent the night deciding if we wanted him (although we both had pretty much decided by the time we got to my car to leave) and so today at 2 I went, with the assistance of my dad and his pick-up, and picked him up and brought him home. His name is Timmy. He's actually a Timneh African Grey which are a bit smaller than the Congo's. I got his cage all set up in the living room and everything. He's ready for when Stephen gets home.

My other animal story involves Rainbow and Pearl....the little shits.....they escaped their cage the other night and Tyler had to catch them and put them back. Then in the morning I found them in the stove and put Rainbow back cuz she was the only one I could catch. Then Stephen got up for work and found them munching on stale crust in the Papa John's box and put them back. Then when I came home from work only Rainbow was in the cage and she showed me how they were getting out. They actually could squeeze their heads and bodies through the cage bars which are about a half inch wide if even that. So I had to get them a new cage too.......Pearl almost became cat food because I couldn't find her. Finally I found her behind the fish tank. So that was a fun day.

Yesterday I cleaned house. And did a damn good job at it. The place is immaculate. I was rather proud of myself.

My dad made me watch Catwoman with him the other night. Surprisingly it was a great movie....except I cannot stand Halle Berry and definately think that the movie would have been even better if they had picked someone else to play Catwoman. Say.......

At least she looks somewhat like a cat. Maybe not in this picture though....But yeah I liked the story line. Very captivating.

The boys got a new video game, Call of Duty 2 Big Red One, and it is supposed to have the best graphics so far according to critics....

.....

.....

The graphics are no better than Halo 2, Farcry or any other first person shooter games those crazy boys play for hours on end.

It's all about brainwashing you into THINKING that the graphics are better so that they can jack up the price by about twenty bucks. Boys are such suckers....

And Stephen has his brain rotting game, Tron. Oh gawd, don't get me started....please....

I have my own trick-or-treat bowl filled with little packets of SweetTarts that I got out of the 50% off cart at Marsh. There's like 5 million little packets in this huge bag and I payed $1.50 for it. I was so happy with myself.

But I'm broke....

And have no pot until Friday. The agony for sure....
