in foreign land!
It’s been a week since I landed in the Wichita, Kansas, USA. I had decided that I would start bloging as soon as I landed here... and its finally happening... The trip to the US this time around was a long one. My port of entry had to be California. So, MY itinerary was: Bangalore - Bangkok - Tokyo - LA - San Jose - Denver - Wichita.
I had asked for a stopover in LA. I got to meet my sis after 2 yrs. It was a gr8 feeling... Went around with Deepa and Kiran the whole day.. till 2 AM in the morning. My flight to San Jose was at 7:00.
Got a couple of hrs of sleep started off for San Jose. Folks at the office had told me to go to San Jose to apply for my SSN. Stayed with Prasad Sir and RaviKumar BS. Had fun going around Milpitas and Santa Clara. Reached Wichita last monday night 10:00.
Its been fun till now. Asha and Vineetha are also here. So, most of the cooking is being done by them :))
On the lookout for a house. Hope I get one before the end of this week. MT pays only for 15 days to stay in a Hotel :((.
Hopefuly next week I can rent a car. I have to go to San Jose again next wednesday to apply for SSN. Without SSN i will not even get my Salary :(.
