lauren w/o a tan = a ghost; lauren w/ a tan = your everyday white girl
So I've just returned from five days in...*drumroll, please*...CANCUN, MEXICO! Heck yes! I am currently tan, which means I no longer look like a ghost...now I just look plain white ^_^
It was relaxing (which turned into slightly boring the last day or so, but I'd rather be bored in Cancun than bored back home!) and fun, and I got to drink as many pina coladas as I wanted. Woo! Of course, all that alchohol probably couldn't even fill a shot glass; I'm really not a big drinker. But I felt cool sitting at the bar you could swim up to and sipping a nice mixed drink :o)
I missed a certain someone more than I thought I would, which actually makes me kind of happy.
We did, however, miss the two big storms that have recently hit Mexico. The only day it rained while I was there was today, the day I left! And I heard that it's been rainy and yucky here...except for today! Yay! I'm just a good weather charm, aren't I?
Now...it's time to unpack. And let Carolyn on-line. And stuff.
