if pro is the opposite of con, then what's the opposite of progress?

Okay, it's time for a much-needed update! Woo!

Let's start at Friday. I finally was able to stay home and take a hooky-day-off! I'm glad I finally got to get a day off like that because I've just been kind of tired/stressed lately. So I woke up at around 8:30 and tried to set up DDR on the big screen tv...and I failed, but not so horribly. After giving up on that, I made pancakes ^_^. Then pudding ^__^. I don't know why, but I've been getting into this crazy bakin/cooking phase and I love making cookies, muffins, cupcakes, brownies, pancakes, pudding...! It's great! Well, except that my dad and Carolyn hate me when I bake because they can't eat it =P

Moving on to Saturday. In the morning I went out to breakfast with my Aunt Daria and little cousin Julianna (who just keeps on getting more and more adorable each time I see her! I love this kid!). I tried to pull off an April Fools joke (my parents are letting me back-pack across Europe after I graduate high school!) and failed with flying colors. It was the first time I attempted a joke after the Oreos Fiasco with my dad (and discovered that you can not, in fact, fool the jokester), so I was rusty. But anywho.

After that I came went to the city with my mom. How cool am I? Haha, it was actually fun. And guess what? I found a dress for junior prom! WOO! It's a pretty color blue and elegant and floor-length...I'm not sure if I over-did it, but it's not too much. It feels right, so I'm going with that. I'm not sure how I'm going to do my hair, but we'll see. Oh-oh-oh! Guess who's my date?? It's...Becky!! XD No, I didn't turn into a lesbian behind your backs, we're going as friends. Sorry to disappoint you, Bubba.

And now I get to sit at home this fine Sunday and do all the homework I left until today!
