Rumble in the 'burbs
So, this time I was both early and late to the party, it seems. Apparently southern Illinois got a whopper of an earthquake this morning, a 5.2! I was excited to read the news because I felt some weird sort of rumbling last night--but it turns out what I felt was an hour before the actual quake at 4:30am.
And now, sitting here reading about the quake, my whole desk started to gently sway, with my computer monitor quivering. Eep. I checked the blogs online and someone else in Illinois posted about it at the same time, so apparently the aftershock was real.
The pre-tremors may have just been because I was reading Harry Potter (I'm halfway through book 6--no spoilers please!! :P), I dunno...hee!
Hope everyone out in my neck of the woods is okay!
