I've got a guilty conscience now, I don't do anything other than football slash, and you are right, it's not very good manners to read and not comment, and you deserve to be told how good your writing is.
Yeahy, my guilt trip is working! *cough* *ahem* No, seriously, thank you, that's very kind of you! It took me sooo long to write that last chapter that a lot of people moved away from the fandom by the time I got it up...heh. So I was just a little sad at the decrease in comments from previous chapters, but then I saw that people *were* reading it at least so that did make me feel better.
I'm sometimes a lurker, too, so I understand. And I tend to do my reading at 2am so often by the time I'm done, especially if it's a really good fic, I'm too exhausted to leave a comment that I feel does it justice...heh. I need to start reading stuff during normal hours. :P

Question.. you get e-mails when people even look at your fics? I haven't heard of that. I haven't read the Troy slash fics of yours, mainly 'Touching'which I LOVE, but would be interested in the others... can you tell me a little more what they're about (just Paris/Hector or Paris and other Troy characters??) I'd forgotten I had this Paris pic, which was originally posted specifically because of that glimpse of tattoo...yum yum. I'm not actually sure why they edited it out of earlier scenes--obviously they thought it was anachronistic, but I always thought tattoos were an ancient art. Who knows exactly what those Trojans got up to, anyway? Hee!
For the emails I used a little thing called LJ Toys. It's kind of like a counter system--they give you code to embed on your page and then it tells you how many hits you get per day on that page. So you can tell how many people are reading and what country they're from, that sort of thing. I just used it on the fic, not every post

Yeah, I felt it was a bit stalkerish at well, but I discovered that basically you're just getting a count and list of IP addresses. It's pretty much anonymous, so I'm just using it to see if people are actually still reading my fic and should I bother posting it!
Unfortunately I haven't been reading much myself, and what I have been reading has been series-type stuff and not PWP. If I run across any smokin' stuff I'll let you know. Are you open to any pairings or are you looking for specifics? So sorry things have been crummy for you.
*snerks* I just noticed there's no arrow on the string. I can't believe they digitized them for Troy as well as LORT. I mean the man does know how to shoot and for a single camara angle shot like this one it would have been so simple to just have him shoot at a target off screen!
It was weird, wasn't it? Orlando definitely knew how to fire a real arrow--I can understand in big crowded scenes where someone might get hurt, but for close-ups? Give the guy something to work with!
