the boys enjoy the fact that everyone thinks they're dating and like to have fun with it. Teases. SUCH teases, I can hardly even believe it.
The curves, the curves, that's the word that kills me! It's such an unexpectedly curvy ass. Where has he been hiding all that curve? *grin*
I never even connected the Orlando Flaunt shoot to Ryan's face art. *facepalm* Orli even had the spazzy hair - it's like he did a photo shoot as the Long-Lost Member of Panic! at the Disco. *pants*
It was definitely a new Patrick gem, I am indebted to you. :) I can't even talk about the pictures of him in the new CD booklet. I squealed, Shriney. In the middle of the damn mall. (I had the cellophane wrapper off my CD and was flipping through the booklet before I ever even made it to the parking lot.) The lips are...gnah. They were the first physical feature of his that caught my attention when I started seeing my first pictures of FOB, actually. I was nearly struck blind by all the thoughts that followed the initial reaction of "Jesus, what a mouth on the boy." And how'd you like that picture of Pete, hanging up in a closet? *cackles* The boy's not terribly subtle about mocking the rumor mill, God love him for it. XD
Hey, so you liked "Infinity on High"? *glee* I'm in love with the entire CD. It's a huge step away from their early stuff, and a lot of the older fans are complaining about that, but I'm rather proud of them for expanding like they are. They've started to really play with their sound, and I have to say, even if I wasn't a blithering fangirl, I'd be impressed. Do you have any favorites from this album yet? There's another appearance by a Panic boy! *grin*
Hee, for some reason it tickles me to think about your mom getting conflicted over laughing at Pete's drug pun. :P You're right, though, Pete's more than willing to poke fun at himself. You realize, you'll have to tell me what your parents' verdict on the new mixed CD is. After our discussions of the last one, this whole screening process you've got with them just fascinates me. *grin* My mother's verdict of "Infinity," by the way, was that she didn't mind it. She can act blase if she wants, but I saw her bopping around to the music every now and then. She thinks I didn't see. Ha! I see all when it comes to Fall Out Boy. *grin*
I KNOW! I always knew Petey had a curvy arse, but Brendon? Maybe he's maturing...*gurgle*
Can you imagine baby!painted!Orli curled up with painted!Ryan and Brendon? *writhes* Oooh, crossover fic! Hee!
Patrick's lips are definitely divine. And he has the sweetest looking creamy skin ever...but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that. I love it when they manage to get him occasionally w/o the hat and glasses and all the other stuff he does to kind of hide a bit. He's really quite adorable and yummy!
And Petey in the closet...hee...I do like that pic, actually. And they've got his nude picture fiasco in the new vid, too. They definitely don't shy away from that stuff, which I think is the best way to handle it really. If you show that the rumor stuff isn't bothering you, then they have nowhere to go with it, you know?
I am totally GA-GA over the CD. The more I listen to it, the more I love. I think any fans that complain about it are nutty. I don't find it a HUGE departure for them--the review I read said they still have all their signature styles, including the bad puns...lol! But definitely I agree with you that they've expanded, and Patrick's voice just hits so many different ocataves and sounds so full and rich. It makes my spine tingle!
I think that's what I was babbling about earlier...the first song that I went crazy for on the album is "The Take Over, the Break's Over" which has Ryan playing on it--which I didn't know until much later...hee! I love the single "It's Not a Scene, It's an Arm's Race". I played that one at the bar where we play darts and THE cutest guy in the room (besides hubby, of course) was totally rocking out to it and I felt so cool...hee. I love "Golden"...the vocals are beautiful and the lyrics crack me up. I think tracks 2-8 are my faves, along with 14. What's weird is that the bar's version of the CD doesn't have "Hum Hallelujah" on it--I guess I got a special edition. Do you have that song? I love it to bits.
LOL on your mom's secret dancing to FOB...hee...my mom didn't give specifics on this latest mix CD but I think I might have overwhelmed her a bit. I had more Panic! on there, two FOB, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Scissor Sisters...there were a lot of BIG songs on there...heh. She said she enjoyed it but she wasn't sure she'd want a whole album of some of the performers, which I expected. My parents are 60, so you gotta give them credit for even trying this stuff...hee!
P.S. THANK YOU for pointing this out to me. OMG OMG OMG. I ran right out and bought the issue...I was practically frantic when we were in Target because we got all the way to the line and I'd forgotten to go look for it. Hubby was very patient and waited for me to come back waving my half-naked Pete around. And that just sounded very dirty...LOL! I think I'm going to get shadow boxes and frame both the Panic and FOB issues of Rolling Stone and hang them up above my desk. It's just toooo yummy! *squeal*

P.S. Have you seen Pete prancing around half-naked on the cover of Rolling Stone? With Patrick all cuddled up to him? Holy hell. *sweats*
