today I had a very interesting experience that I feel I must share. I was on my way to work at the drama school this morning. I was feeling pretty good because I finally decided that it actually IS faster to take the 2/3 train and I was going to be on time to work even though I got up late. so
I'm listening to my ipod, enjoying my favorite regina spektor song, and this man comes up to me and taps me on the shoulder. so I take off my headphones and I look at him. he has like these weird gross teeth and he looks kind of like his mother dressed him. so he says "you look like a nice lady and I just needed to ask a lady this. you'll understand why when I ask you" and I say "uhm... ok" then he says "so do you know how to use tweezers? like to pluck eyebrows?" and I say "uhm... sure." then he goes on to tell me how he has lost some bet and his friend is making him get girly eyebrows because he lost. but he doesn't want to go to a salon and ask someone to pluck his eybrows. but he has some tweezers in his pocket and is wondering if I would be willing to pluck his eyebrows. he says he'll pay me. now the money was a bit tempting... but looking more at this guy's face... I decided I did not want to get close enough to pluck his eyebrows. so I checked my phone and explained that I had to be at work in 5 minutes so I didn't have time to pluck his eyebrows.... and so then he says "ok ok... well let me just ask you... just as friends would you like to go to lunch... just as friends?" and I said no I can't. I'm sorry. and just kind of left.... it pretty much really freaked me out.
and then of course I get to school and this other guy comes up to me which I sort of know but not really... and he's like hey if I buy you a candy bar will you do something for me. and now of course I'm all freaked out about guys asking me for favors after tweezer man... so I'm like uhm.... ok.... well this guy was fine. he just wanted me to sign him up for a free massage. which I did. so no problem there. and I got my own free massage. and I swear the lady doing the massage was fiona's mom... only her name was fiona. but she looked just like fiona's mom. hehehe. anyway free massages at the drama school are AWESOME! and weird guys who stop you on the street to ask you to pluck their eyebrows... are NOT awesome. that is all.
oh wait, I guess that's not all. I recently was in a student film. yay for film shoots! the film wasn't bad and I really like the girls who were doing it. they were really nice parsons students. they seemed to have everything planned out really well. I will have to show off this film because I had to sing and dance to the akon and snoop dogg song "I wanna love you". so I was standing in union square singing "i see you windin and grindin up on that pole i know you see me lookin at you and you already know i wanna fuck you you already know i wanna fuck you" it was, may I say, brilliance. anyway THAT is all.
