and I already kind of miss it. I know I've been whining about the WC for the past... 9 months or so, but it's different to have it finish all of a sudden (of course 64 matches are a sudden thing!).
I bravely woke up at 3:15am this morning and dragged myself out of bed, into jeans, ugg boots, thermals, leather jacket and BIG fuzzy jacket and drove over to Chatswood where I met up with the boys and my Leon.
We bravely walked through the cold to Hoyts Chatswood (actually, it wasn't that cold compared to last couple of weeks) and joined a very full cinema to watch the match in 3D.
Me & my Leon in the cinema with our glasses. Taken by Rohan.
Finally the game finished with Spain scoring a great goal and we trekked again, this time in search for foooooood.
Breakfast was consumed, however it had gotten a bit more chilly by then, so heating at the cafe was great. But it was obvious we'd all been up since 3am...

All in all, a great way to finish off the world cup. Except for having to come to work straight away.
Me excited at no more world cup related work.
