Finally
Originally uploaded by shrillianI finally worked myself up to going through the Franz Joseph Glacier photos. I knew there would be a lot that I would want to keep and upload, so knew it was going to be an arduous task... hence the avoiding of it.
But, the work is done and the uploading is happening. Huzzah!
Now, the rest of the trip! Which shouldn't be that much more since the next few days were in Queenstown snowboarding, so they were taken on Kapil's camera. And the rest of the trip wasn't photographically inspiring me, so not much taken.
I remember how nervous I was going up to the glacier top with the camera:
- forced myself to take only one lens. That too, one I wasn't very comfortable with.
- packed three 8Gb memory cards. "Just In case".
- two batteries only, making me nervous (I know, I was nuts).
- what if it was too bulky to go through caves with?
It was all good in the end. And I didn't need to change memory cards or battery. :o)
