Cashed up in a cashless society

This post was meant to be a rant about how completely annoyed I am that people look at me completely shocked/like a leper because... I don't have a credit card. I mean, honestly? It's a little bit of plastic that symbolises as much as real cash does - not a great deal except to certain types of people. I don't have a credit card as I don't need credit (yet). I save up my money and then buy things. Like for my: - Car - Holidays - Clothes - Shoes - Jewellery - Furniture - House deposit - Fees - Courses - Whatever else I need I can't be bothered typing it all out again. Especially since it was done on my phone. Note to self: type and then post immediately. I think this was initiated by me because I tried to pay via eftpos at a restaurant and they said they only took credit cards or cash. The fact that they made me walk to an ATM (okay, they made Rohan walk to an ATM - I love that you accommodate for my laziness baby!) is silly. I mean, you can do credit, but not eftpos? Don't most POS terminals do both? It's just silly. Bah to the world.
