HI all - its been a while since I posted, so I thought I'd say hello. HELLO! ;) Life has been kinda life-y. I started the new job at Intersections, and while it is somewhat interesting and I am learning new things... I dont know if its really where I want to be headed. Where do I want to be headed, you may ask. If you figure it out, would you let me know? ;) Either way, its silly how well it pays, and I mean - I do work hard and am for all intensive purposes doing IT coding (albeit at a low level and only really in one language right now...). Its just one of those things I guess. I think I've been a little stagnant actually - in life, etc. Which could be a cause or effect of the ambivolence to the job. Eh well.
Brian is in Denver right now. His job has an office out there (and thats actually where more than half of his department is located) so he is out there for the week for a team week. Its nice to have the house to myself (with cats of course.) I really should do something with all of the freedom, but I just watched some TV. I think I might go take a bath though - so that should be fun. I also need to give THE LISA a ring, we've been talking about sitting me down to watch one of the Harry Potters - which ever it is I havent seen yet, 4 I think. SO I'd really like to do that.
Nothing really else going on right now. I'm still singing with the choir out in Reston and we are gearing up for the holiday season. We have one concert the 1st weekend in December that we are singing and then we were invivted to sing with the Fairfax Sympony Orchestra mid December. I'm also looking foward to the day after Thanksgiving - Reston has a big Christmas Tree lighting and the Chorale goes and sings carols. Santa comes riding down the main road in a horse drawn sled (with Mrs. Claus by his side, of course.) It really is a lot of fun. If anyone is in the area (or wants to be in the area) that day - you should come out. (Any one from far away is always welcome to some crash space. And really - if anyone doesnt have anywhere else to be for Thanksgiving, you're more than welcome to experience the insanity that is my Mother. It truely is a trip. You'll have stories for years...)
Well - thats enough rambling for now. Off to jingle THE LISA and then into a hot bath. (Probably to be stared at by felines. :)
