So I was supposed to post about Australia - but I never got around to it... deal with it or ask me to tell you stuff. :)
A few tidbits:
- Platupus are much smaller than I expected (like about the weight/size of Bonzai - our smaller cat)
- The word root (like rooting for your favorite sports team) means to have sex
- We drank a lot at the hotel bar from the awesome lesbian bartender :)
- I saw Barber of Seville, the opera, at the Sydney Opera House
- I climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge
- I walked A LOT

In other news -
I'm changing positions at my job starting next week. I'm moving into the IT department (so lots of learning will be had.) I'm excited, but I'm also a bit sad to be leaving the group I've been in for the last 3 years. It was actually a somewhat hard decision for me to make, but I know in the long run this is good for me, blah blah blah.
Also of note, they're giving me lots more money ::pauses while everyone bitches that I am getting yet another absurd raise:: but I'm not telling you how much. :)
More news, as it breaks... or really whenever I feel like telling it.
