[Today in Luceti, residents passing through the Welcome Center area might find yet another new feather loitering around the fountain, pulling leaves out of his hair. A cursory once-over will reveal that he's rather wet and there's a suspicious trail of water leading north, in the direction of the river. And if one were, for whatever reason, to follow that trail, they might notice that there seems to be a large amount of... destroyed foliage along the path.
Meanwhile, Jale seems to be satisfied with the state of his hairdo. He turns to head towards the smithy (since weapons are clearly what he needs) and in the process, manages to tangle his feet up. Falling into the fountain in 3... 2... 1...]
Splash! [Thankfully, his journal escaped the flood.]
