jump off that bridge

A day late, a dollar short, and struggling not to be so incommunicado -- single lines from works-in-progress, and I cheated only twicethrice:

Oh, man. *Please* tell me that none of the DCU ones are in the 'never plan to finish' box. Because I want to read all of those SO BAD. (*Especially* that Kon/Tim one. Mmm, secrets.)

The DCU ones?

Well, the Bruce/Cass needs a lot of work. The Tim thing needs to be retooled a bit, even if I ignore a lot of War Games, and the Tim/Kon thing is something I started far too long ago, and will be mined for good lines... but all of them can be salvaged.

I'm seriously starting to think that I must watch X-Files. This Krycek fella sounds way to interesting for my own good.

Well, Krycek is the little black dress of fandom, as Hal famously once said. (I think it was Hal.)

These all seem fabulous. The Snape one made me snorfle, and the prospect of Shrift-written Mal/Jayne made me perk right up.

Mmmm, Shrift-fic.

What, no Sayid/Sawyer? *grin*

I'd love to finish the Snape one, and the Mal/Jayne is one of those I definitely do intend to finish. I suspect nestra may need to help me, like I helped her insert more smut into her Mal/Simon. For some reason, Firefly sends me into gen mode.

Too early. Seriously. It's all still stuck in my head, considering that I'm working six days a week. It's really quite annoying. But give me a few hours with my keyboard...

Krycek really is the Little Black Dress of fandom. Should you want specific X-Files episodes starring him, do let me know. Or suelac. ;)

Of all of them, I predict that I shall finish the due South "Monkey Business" story first.

I said it before and I'll say it again: YAY MONKEY!!!

And oh god, the other dS too. Because, just, bwah!

Well, the monkey story WILL get written.

And I'm suddenly eyeballing the other dS thing and realizing that if I just do a little rewriting and finish the ending, I'll have, like, 15,000 words of new dS story. Huh.

Those summaries are quite enticing, I now yearn for you to write all of those faster... *grin*

Also Syzygy Snape sounds like quite an interesting person.

Well, I think about 50% of these are viable...

Also, where have you been? I've missed you! And so have many other people!

Okay, I know where I've been -- off working and watching CSI reruns. Still. Good to see you around.

Aww, I feel all warm and fuzzy now. :)

I didn't post because I was in a funk the last months, and couldn't even muster much interest in fandom stuff. I'm still not exactly feeling bouncy, but at least some interest in fannish interaction is back, so that now there'll be something for my posts besides "Was moping today. Again." At least I hope.

Hee. I know I'm not the only one who wondered/worried. Of course, I'm brain dead, so I can't remember who in the comics community was asking.

Ah, this I understand. I've been working too many hours, and as a consequence, feel like I'm getting pulled in a million directions. I can barely manage to post once a week, but I try to so people know I'm not dead. ;)

I don't surf lj very much these days, but even *I* noticed the lack of your icons. Welcome back!

Mmm. Yeah. Eventually, I will need to disconnect from reality and finish that story, because I've already got 40kb down, you know?
