in which giant piles of snow continue to be an inconvenience

January was a stress bomb. February is looking to be the same (back off my grandpa, universe), so retail therapy has its place. I ordered shoes (flats and heels) from Zappos, and both times they've sent me a can of Red Bull with my shoes.

I'm really not sure what Zappos is trying to tell me, you guys.

I've been medicating my stress with episodes of Never Mind the Buzzcocks (I now ship James Blunt and Phill Jupitus \o?) and season one of Kids in the Hall. (I recently read Sebastian Junger's War and then watched Restrepo, and I don't recommend doing that while grieving, yo. Both are awesome, but not exactly relaxing.)

The check I sent in with my passport renewal forms has been cashed! \o/ I'm taking that as a good sign. I probably should start looking at airfare and reading my London guide book, and investigating if I can work from our London office a few days.

I just ordered this sleep and fitness tracker. It kind of creeps me out and intrigues me at the same time.
