home again
I'm back from Escapade. I had an awesome time. The sun was shining. The sky was blue. The hotel restaurant had Truffle Reggiano Cheese Fries that were incredibly addictive. Good friends. Good conversation. There was a BEACH.
I returned with a horrible cough, which I hope is merely postnasal drip and not bronchitis, and I have a giant stack of work to do at the office. I want to write up a con report when I'm less exhausted, especially about the "Becoming Better Allies: Consciousness-Raising for White Fans" panels. And I've wanted to post about RaceFail '09 (see also: here), and also the shitty things that are being done to coffeeandink; I wanted to mention that I've been reading and reading and reading, waving my fists in rage at the racism, the derailing, and the nasty displays of white privilege. I'm not ignoring RaceFail '09, and I do want to post about it, with many and varied links, but not when I'm, uh, literally having issues with vomit. And breathing.
And I seem to have signed up for lgbtfest again, claiming prompts for Leverage and Psych.
