Tyera! It was wonderful to hear from you. I read your lj when you post, although I don't know much about the sporting world and so only have a vague understanding of the things you describe. But superiority complexes are universal, so I feel your pain there.

I didn't know you were back in CO, and I don't think I've met Phil, but I'm happy that you're happy. I too am attempting to avoid the real world. I'm in a one-year contract here in SoKo (hahaha, ok, I just made that up, no one calls South Korea SoKo except me). I'm thinking about applying for grad schools while I'm over here, so I'll have somewhere to land once I head back to the States. How did the application process treat you? Any suggestions?

I'm glad to hear that you survived as a vegetarian in Asia for a year. Did you eat a lot of rice? I don't know much about Hong Kong cuisine, but bok choy is good.

Anyhow, I'm glad everything is going well over there. Keep up the good work with cycling! Don't let the jackasses of the world get you down. And sorry this is ridiculously long.
