For my own sanity, I need to start a protein relational database. I'd really like to be able to output the data into something like
this (maybe) with each protein being linked back to a list of A) citations B) characteristics (tertiary structure, active domains, etc). Most importantly I need it to be easily updatable. Wolfram alpha sucks for most of my academic searches, but it is nice for pulling out basic protein characteristics and sticking them on a nice single page.
Basically, I need a way to track and visualize hundreds of relationship. I'm willing to spend some time learning new software/coding languages as this will really help me out over the next several years.
Any suggestions?
