My father has been in Iraq for the last several months, and today he sent out pictures of his office. I'm not sure why it's so amusing to me. The mixture of diet coke/coke lite/iraqi coke juxtaposed with the US map and walgreens lens wipes my mother shipped to him is part of it. (My father had perfect vision until his 50's and only reluctantly submitted to eye-glasses and only by being meticulous about their clarity.) Basically, it's precisely how one would expect my fathers Baghdad office to look, complete with large drink cooler and stray golf balls.
