Greetings from Cyberland!
Belated Diwali greetings to all of you and I hope all of you are doing well. :)
As for me, I have had a long wonderful vacation and have comehome refreshed but also feeling lazy. I don't want to start studying for my last semester of MBA at all. I just want this vacation to go on and on and on... *sigh*
Places visited during this vacation :-
- Mahableshwar, where it was nice and pleasant and foggy and my dear husband taught me how to play pool. :D
- Surat. I loved the wide, open roads and going on a late night ride with Yayati.
- Ahmedabad. It was much as I had expected. Hot, a bit noisy and glittering with malls, restaurants and all the signs of the glitzy life. I spent the day playing with a naughty 2 year old and laughing at his antics.
- Daman (of Daman & Diu). Loved the beach. Tasted port wine for the first time. I wanted to visit Diu too, but time was short.
I ate all kinds of foods, went on late night drives, watched 'Don' and didn't like it as much as I thought I would, gorged on ice-cream in hot Baroda and spent my first Diwali with my husband and it was so much fun!
This vacation was like a long, beautiful dream. :)
Next stop on the travel trail :-
Jammu & Kashmir or Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Let's see what comes first.
