This will most certainly be perhaps the most memorable school year thus far. At least I know that I shall be remembering this year for the rest of my life. So I rode back on the train with a narrow fabric band tied around my head, although that still didn't mask the entire word. Even if it had, the damage was still done. I stirred a good bunch of snickers when I went to find an empty cabin to occupy.
At least my parents didn't ask me much about it. I told them that I was following a Japanese tradition, and that it was merely the hachimaki band I wore while studying for my OWLs. They didn't question me further. Thank Merlin the word disappeared this morning, otherwise I'm quite certain they would have started wondering again.
